This thought experiment challenges the very idea of a shared reality. Imagine if your perception of colors was systematically inverted compared to everyone else's. You'd call a fire truck 'red' and they would agree, but the experience you have is what they would call 'green'. Since all your external behavior would be identical, there's no way to ever know. This puzzle explores the subjective nature of consciousness and if our inner world is truly private.
