This is the improbable story of the only time US and German forces fought together during WWII. In the final days of the war in Europe, a handful of American soldiers, French VIPs, and defecting Wehrmacht troops joined forces. They defended an Austrian castle against a determined Waffen-SS attack, all because a few men decided to do the right thing in the middle of total chaos.
